Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Marble at usemarble.app. By using Marble, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Marble.

Your account

You need an account to use Marble. Marble is invite only for now. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. Keep access to your email and Google account secure, since they are how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Your content

You own what you add to Marble, including projects, notes, links, and images. You give us permission to store, copy, and display that content only as needed to run Marble for you. Only add content you have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use Marble to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Upload malware or harmful content.
• Try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or test or break our security.
• Overload Marble, or scrape it with automated tools.

Budgets and estimates

Marble adds up the costs you enter. Totals are only as accurate as what you put in. Marble is not financial, legal, or construction advice. Check prices, quotes, and measurements with your vendors and contractors. Marble does not sell, endorse, or guarantee any product or vendor you link to.

Price

Marble is free for now. If we add paid plans, we will tell you before we charge you anything.

Changes and ending service

Marble is new and will change. We may add, change, or remove features. You can stop using Marble at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we shut Marble down, we will give you notice and a way to export your content first.

Disclaimers

Marble is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that Marble will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Marble is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or savings. Our total liability for any claim about Marble is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Using Marble after that means you accept the new terms.
